UPDATES | Rhia’s Audition for Canada’s Best Beauty Talent #cbbt

Earlier this year, Rogers Media and L’oreal Paris announced a very exciting collaboration – Canada’s Best Beauty Talent (CBBT) webisode series! The webisode will feature 12 artists (6 hair and 6 make-up) vying for the title of top spot over a series of hair and make-up competitions. As part of the application process, participants had to submit an audition video…here’s mine:

The winner of CBBT receives an amazing prize package – including a portfolio review with top magazine editors, TV appearances, magazine features and incomparable networking opportunities. Also, for the grand prize winner, there’s a trip to Paris! Dream come true, non?!

Not going to lie…it would be a thrill to participate in this and the prize package is pretty much a freelance make-up artist’s dream! I’ve always loved watching make-over shows (think Carmindy!), the hair/make-up parts of Next Top Model (sorry Tyra – that’s all I can make it through!) – how amaaazing would it be to be one of the ones competing!!

Finalists will be contacted by mid-March, and I’m keeping my fingers crossed until then! CBBT will definitely be atop my must-watch list when it goes online in April.
